University students seated in a lecture hall

Attendance for Nigerian universities

Paper registers, replaced with a session code.

Lecturers open a session. Students check in from the app. Admins see the register and the barring list.

Students sign in with the EduSeat app.

How it works

From the lecture hall to the register

A lecturer addressing a filled lecture theatre

Example session code

K7P-4Q

One code. One class. The server records who checked in.

  1. Start a session

A lecturer opens the class. EduSeat shows a code for that session only.

  2. Check in with the code

The student enters the code in the mobile app. The server records the check-in.

  3. See the register

Lecturers watch the count rise. Admins export attendance and barring lists.

Who it is for

Staff on the web. Students on the app.

Lecturers

University admins
Upload students and courses, and pull attendance reports.
Students
Check in from the EduSeat mobile app. This website is for staff.
